This Privacy Policy explains how Sprezza LLC ("Sprezza," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the DropZone game (the "App") for iOS. DropZone has no account login. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information you submit
When you choose to submit a score, we collect a player-entered nickname (optional, chosen by you) and your game result — your score, the wave you reached, and the run duration. We store these to operate the online leaderboard. Because the nickname is free-text and shown publicly, please don't use your real name or any personal or identifying information as your nickname.
We do not ask you for an account, email address, real name, contacts, photos, or precise (GPS) location.
2. Advertising
DropZone is free and shows ads provided by third-party advertising networks (for example, Google AdMob). To deliver and measure ads, these partners may automatically collect information such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, general (approximate) location, device and operating-system details, and ad-interaction data. Some ads may be personalized based on this data.
On iOS, the App may present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking occurs. If you decline, advertising partners will not use the device's advertising identifier to track you across apps. You can also turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" and limit ad personalization at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
We do not control how advertising partners use the data they collect. If we use Google AdMob, you can learn more in the How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services notice and the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Leaderboard storage (Google Firebase)
Leaderboard data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a backend service provided by Google. Your nickname and score are processed and stored on Google's infrastructure on our behalf, and Google may process limited technical data necessary to deliver the service. See the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. In-app purchases
DropZone may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads or for in-game items). Any purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. We do not receive or store your payment card details; Apple may share limited transaction information with us to deliver and support your purchase.
5. How we use information
- To display the global leaderboard and show how scores compare across players.
- To show and measure ads that keep the game free, and to support any purchases you make.
- To operate, maintain, and protect the integrity of the game and leaderboard (for example, detecting invalid or abusive entries).
6. The public leaderboard
Leaderboard entries — your nickname and score — are publicly visible to anyone who plays DropZone. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want shown publicly.
7. How we share information
We do not sell the nickname and score you submit. We share information only as needed to run the game: with our advertising partners and Google Firebase as described above, with Apple for any purchases, and when required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of players, the public, or Sprezza.
8. Your choices
- Tracking & ad personalization. Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or manage tracking and ad personalization in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Remove a leaderboard entry. Email legal@sprezza.io with the nickname and, if you can, the approximate score or date so we can find it. We'll remove it within a reasonable time.
9. Data retention
Leaderboard entries are kept to run the leaderboard. We may remove old, invalid, or abusive entries at our discretion, and we remove entries on request. Advertising partners retain data they collect according to their own policies.
10. Children's privacy
DropZone is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the nickname is free-text, no one should enter personal information as a nickname. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact legal@sprezza.io and we will remove it.
11. Security and international processing
We rely on Google Firebase's security infrastructure and reasonable measures to protect leaderboard data; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We are based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your location.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
